We were tasked with finding a size and shape that was not only compatible with HydroFlask soft coolers, backpacks, totes, and lunch bags, but with other common brands. We observed user behavior with ice packs to better understand pain points, then developed ours with an easy-grab handle and TPU bumper. The bumper stops the pack from sliding in the freezer and protects both the product and user’s toes from accidental drops.
