This product originated from user demand. Our goals were (1) a splash-proof design for on-the-go use, and (2) improved battery life. We were faced with a tight deadline, but knew the consumer would demand quality due to the high price point of Ember’s products. Quick iterative printing allowed us to dial in the drinking experience. Once we found the form, material exploration led us to a tritan lid and PP slider that gives a satisfying feel to the finished product.
